One of our ROBOMO members found a link on Instructables to build an Arduino based robot. I really liked the style, and the designer open-sourced the drawings and code so I had a friend laser cut me the parts. I completed the robot this weekend (12/14/08) and have it running the test program. The only change I made was to use a small 6v gel cell to power the servos instead of 4AA. It runs great! UPDATE: 12-17-08 I have added the Sharp IR sensors to the front and LED’s on the breadboard that light when something is detected on the left or right side…just a bit of visual feedback to ensure the sensors are working.
